The Company
ProMax is known for its work in boutique developments, built by a skilled team of employees and dependable subcontractors.
It delivers retail and commercial sites, multi-level apartments and student accommodation from start to finish, and restores heritage-listed buildings.
The Challenge
Sub-contractors and employees needed access to reports, certificates and plans while on site and while moving between jobs and the office.
ProMax wanted everyone working on one platform, outdoors and in, meeting compliance requirements and staying productive. Most alternatives meant different platforms, or were very costly.
Some contractors paid for their own equipment, so there was resistance at several levels:

The Solution
The BlackBook Flip Mini 11 for all staff and contractors; the BlackBook Zero 14 for office staff.
The Flip Mini 11 works in four modes, with the stylus pen included for signing, viewing and marking up documents. It is Windows Ink certified, so it works across the latest Microsoft applications.
It is fanless, so dust stays out, and its semi-rugged build – drop tested, with a spill-resistant keyboard – handles minor mishaps on site or on the road. Built-in 4G LTE keeps outbound staff online.
